ABout me
Hi, my name is Dr. Sheyda Vadipour, a licensed naturopathic doctor, deeply passionate about functional medicine and healing holistically. After struggling with severe cystic acne as a teen and being put on birth control, Accutane, antibiotics (and more) at a young age, I decided to take my health back into my own hands and shift gears to pursue naturopathic medicine.
Unlike traditional medicine which often focuses on treating symptoms, functional medicine seeks to address the root causes of health issues, taking into account the interconnectedness of the body's systems. It emphasizes the importance of understanding each individual's unique biochemistry, genetics, and lifestyle factors to create targeted and effective treatment plans.
Functional medicine empowers patients to actively participate in their well-being, promoting long-term health rather than just managing symptoms. Through my own experience, I have been inspired by the transformative potential of functional medicine to not only alleviate current health concerns but also to prevent future ones, fostering a proactive and preventive approach to overall wellness.
I deeply value the importance of bio-individuality in medicine, recognizing that a "one-size-fits-all” approach does not work. By taking an integrative and individualized approach, we can work together to find your root cause and create sustainable change. Health is a feeling and it’s my goal to empower, educate, and remind patients that their body is capable of healing!
I received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Wellness in 2017 from Arizona State University and Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in June 2023 from the Sonoran University of Health Sciences.
